Set in the historic and picturesque Somerset village of Croscombe, Mill Cottage is a haven of peace and tranquility where a warm welcome awaits you.


Mill Cottage is a warm, welcoming, quaint and quirky Grade A listed 17th Century cottage in the historic and picturesque village of Croscome, which dates back to 760AD. It does have a couple of low doorways, so please mind your head, and there is a resident dog, Berty.

The cottage has a pretty south facing garden. There is an excellent breakfast menu, which also includes vegetarian options.

The one double en-suite guest room has a very comfortable bed with lovely soft bedlinen, soft duck down pillows and duvet.

The village of Croscombe is situated between the historic market town of Shepton Mallet and the beautiful city of Wells, the smallest city in England with its magnificent 12th Century Cathederal, moated Bishop's Palace, shops, pubs, restaurants and market (held on a Wednesday and Saturday in the pretty Market Place).

Croscombe is close to the Bath and West Showground and Kilver Court shopping outlet - the Mulberry Factory Shop and the beautiful gardens are well wort a visit. Also nearby, the East Somerset Railway is well worth taking a trip on, where you spend a happy day reliving the bygone era of steam.

Glastonbury Tor

The beautiful Georgian city of Bath, with its Roman Baths, Cheddar Gorge, the quiant town of Frome and Glastonbury, with its world famous Tor are all within easy reach.

Explore pretty villages, world famous art galleries, take walks or just relax.
